What happens everyday ...

Imagine you wake up in your comfy bed, in your cozy room with the AC on. You take a good breakfast of cornflakes, bread, cheese, jam,... You have your hot coffee or hot chocolate. Then you take a hot shower and wear good smelling, ironed clothes and get ready to go to university, work or wherever you are going. What about some make up or perfume before going. Then you take your car, turn the radio on, listen to some good music, turn on the AC, and head to your destination. Even if you are in a traffic jam and you are late to your meeting or class, you are sitting in a good weather listening to your favorite music. Later you come back home, have the lunch that you have most probably chosen from before, sit on your lazy boy watching the news, TV show or any movie. You can also buy some chocolates or any of your favorite snacks on your way back.
Now imagine the day i spent almost for 5 weeks. You wake up sweating on your stinky mattress which you don't know how many people used it before you. Say good morning to the ants all around the bed. Then you will be lucky if you have clean water to have a cold shower (it's not an option to have a hot shower unless you want to boil some water and use it for shower).
After shower you go to have breakfast, open the fridge maybe there is some food from last night, if not maybe you bought some bread and yogurt. First you have to welcome the cockroaches all around the cupboard and the fridge then start your meal. Then you start to get ready and wear whatever clothes will suit your day activity; not ironed, maybe have a bad smell because it's the second day to wear it. Then you go for 20 minutes walk to the taxi station, then you wait in the car until it is full of four persons that we start the journey. On your way to work, you are trying to avoid all the bumps, up and downs, the dust from the fully destroyed taxi.
Finally, in the the other taxi station near the place you are working in, you have another 15 minutes walk to reach it. So if you want to be in time you should leave at least one hour earlier. You spend your day in the school with 37 cute monkeys (The students who i really love and miss) who are full of energy and excitement, that you have to use them in a smart way.
After very exhausting 6 hours in the class, you go back home dead. On your way back you need to buy some food for lunch because you don't have gas at home to cook with. So you buy fried rice with chicken (unless you like the other food which was not the case for all the interns there) and walk back for another 20 minutes. You will be lucky if have electricity back home so you can have your lunch under the very precious wind coming from the fan. Later, you sit down, thinking of what you will be doing for the rest of the day, reading your book, watching a movie on your laptop if it was charged, maybe going for a walk and talk with the people in the streets, wash the dishes or clean the house; you should be creative to spend your time.
Finally, all you need now a cold shower that would help you to get over your stinky pyjamas and mattress. Before you sleep you should say goodnight for the lizards at the front door, spiders in your washroom, cockroaches in your kitchen and of course the ants in your bed.
